Woking Borough Council election results

Last Thursday, I narrowly lost my battle to be re-elected as Councillor for Woking’s Mount Hermon ward. I received 1,283 votes compared with 1,300 for the Lib Dem candidate, former Councillor Liam Lyons.

I would like to congratulate Liam on his win. I sincerely hope he enjoys his time serving Mount Hermon residents as much as I have during the past two years.

I would also like to thank everybody who supported me, whether that meant knocking on doors, distributing leaflets, or simply voting for me. We ran a great campaign focused on our strong track record of delivering improvements for Mount Hermon and the Borough as a whole.

I am grateful for the trust many others placed in me and I’m sorry that it wasn’t enough. I hope to return to serve the public and my party in some capacity in the future.
